Crossley Crosland & Uttley is the oldest established firm of Charted Surveyors and Valuers in Calderdale practising since 1875. Our Survey and Valuation department is headed by Mr Anthony J Turner FRICS FRVA FRSH who throughout a period of 46 years has undertaken valuations and surveys on behalf of most UK Banks, Building Societies and mortgage lenders. Our clients also include the court of protection, Pennine 2000 and County Courts. We receive many instructions from the Legal profession for matrimonial, capital transfer or probate valuations, and from the Accountancy profession for Capital Gains, Taxation or other matters. We undertake valuations for rating purposes, rent assessments, insurance, compulsory purchase and compensation claims from such organisations as the Environment Agency and Water Authorities.

Generally we offer two types of valuation or survey in relation to residential property. A letter valuation report suitable for all purposes or a comprehensive Homebuyer Report identifying possible structural defects, which is a speciality of our practice and ensures that your interests are protected when buying a property.
